What we collect

Nothing you type into a calculator leaves your browser. Calculations run on your device. Tool settings are stored in the page address so you can share or bookmark a result, and your province and theme choice are remembered in your browser's local storage. We do not have accounts and do not ask for your email.

Analytics

We run our own cookie-free analytics on this site. It records which pages are viewed, which links and buttons are clicked, which calculator fields are used (never the values you type), how far you scroll, how long you stay, what you search for, the page you came from, your device type and screen size, and your country and province. To count visitors without identifying anyone, your IP address and browser are turned into a code that cannot be reversed and that changes every day; the IP address itself is never stored. No advertising trackers are used and nothing is shared with third parties.

Hosting

The site is served from a content delivery network that may log IP addresses for security and performance for a short period, as is standard for any website.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws) you can ask what personal information we hold about you. Since we do not collect any, the answer will be none. Questions: [email protected].
