Put a calculator on your own website

Every calculator on GlassLayer can sit on your site: a mortgage broker's affordability check, an accountant's self-employed tax estimate, a blogger's take-home pay tool. Paste one snippet. The calculator sizes itself to your page, keeps its 2026 figures current without you touching it, and shows a one-line credit with a link back. No cost, no sign-up, no tracking of your visitors beyond our own page counts.

How it works

  1. Pick a calculator below and copy its snippet, or use the one on any calculator page under "Put this calculator on your own website".
  2. Paste it into your page where you want the calculator. It works in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and plain HTML. The small script lets the frame grow to fit, so there is no scroll bar inside it.
  3. That is all. When a rate, limit or bracket changes, the calculator updates on our side and yours shows the new figure the same day.

Example: the affordability calculator

<iframe src="https://glasslayer.ca/embed/mortgage-affordability-calculator" title="Mortgage Affordability Calculator (Canada, 2026 Stress Test)" style="width:100%;border:0;min-height:900px" loading="lazy"></iframe>
<script>addEventListener('message',e=>{if(e.data&&e.data.type==='glasslayer-embed-height'){document.querySelectorAll('iframe[src*="/embed/"]').forEach(f=>{if(f.contentWindow===e.source)f.style.height=e.data.height+'px'})}})</script>

It renders like this on your page:

Terms, in plain words

  • Free for any website, commercial or not, for as long as you like.
  • The credit line "Powered by GlassLayer" and its link stay in place. That is the whole price.
  • Want it without the credit line, in your own colours, or with an uptime commitment? That is a separate arrangement for banks, credit unions and software companies. Write to [email protected].
  • Do not present the calculator as your own product or remove the sources it shows. Your visitors are entitled to see where the figures come from.
  • We can change or retire a calculator. If we retire one you use, the frame shows a notice and a link, never a blank.
  • Your visitors' inputs never leave their browser. We count page loads of the frame and nothing else.
